Sowing Seeds

Children had a great time on experiencing sowing seeds in their pots and giving life to a plant.

As a part of experimental learning the seed sowing activity was organised on 21st October 2021 for the students of our school. For classes 1 to 5 the activity was organised virtually in which they performed the activity under the guidance of their teacher. They were demonstrated how to sow different kinds of seeds. Their happiness was on the peak when they sowed the seeds with their little hands in their little pot. On the other hand students of 6-8 planted seeds and flowers .They made pots with old plastic bottles and self made pots. In this activity they learnt about vegetative propagation and germination of seeds. They also learnt the method of preparing manure. The awesome seed growing activity turned out amazingly well where the children participated with full enthusiasm.
