“A week of camp life is worth six months of theoretical teaching in the meeting room.”
The purpose of ‘Scouts and Guides Camp’ is to help young people develop physically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually. Keeping the above in mind, our school organised a ‘Scouts and Guides’ camp on 3rd December, 2022 for the students of classes V to VIII.
The students were given warm welcome followed hoisting of the flag hoisting. The flag was hoisted by our senior teacher, Mrs. Savita Pahwa. She said that the environment of Scouts and Guides helps to promote team work, leadership, and unity.
Many activities like Tent Pitching, Camping, Troop Club Room, etc. was organised. Information was given about knotting accompanied by different immunity improvement exercises. The students participated in the camp with great zeal and enthusiasm. It was a memorable experience for the children as they learnt life skills through this programme.
