Kindness Day + Children's Day
“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.”
We celebrated World Kindness Day in our school on 13th November 2021. The purpose of this day is to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and common thread of kindness which bind us. The essence of this day was beautifully brought out by our children who felicitated all our didis and bhayias with flowers to express their gratitude and to let them know that they too hold a special place in their hearts. Children are called the flowers from the heaven and dearest to God. May the innocence that they hold stay forever in their pure heart. Every year Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November across India in the memory of our first Prime Minister Pdt. Jawahar Lal Nehru whose immense love for children is known world-wide. To make our children feel special this year we organised virtual children’s day on 13th November 2021 for classes upto V. They played many games. Classes VI to VIII celebrated in the school. The celebration began with the encouraging words by our Headmistress Ma’am, Mrs.Gunjan Bhasin who blessed the children for their bright future. It was followed by variety of fun filled activities and games planned by the teachers. The teachers made it special for the children by presenting a play followed by exhilarating ‘Hasya Kavita’. The icing on the cake was when our children mimicked their favourite teachers and surprised them. The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed thoroughly.
