International Asteroid Day

“If the Earth gets hit by an asteroid, it’s game over. It’s control-alt-delete for civilization!” 30th June is celebrated as ‘International Asteroid Day’. This day is celebrated to mark the anniversary of the Tunguska impact over Siberia, 1908. It is said that it was the Earth’s largest asteroid impact ever recorded so far. This is an annual Global event to raise awareness about asteroids. The students participated in this celebration enthusiastically and through their videos they explained various interesting facts about asteroids and shared their ideas about its formation and its types. Our students quenched their curiosity about asteroids by learning more about them and about the sky above.Learning scope of our kids is widening by their individual efforts and research work under the guidance of the teachers.
