Science projects are a great way to get students out of textbooks and into real life.
They learn how the knowledge they’ve acquired can be applied to real-world problems. Science projects force students to rely on skills they’ve learned in many areas. These skills span many disciplines. The students also learns how to budget and organize time and resources as they work to complete their project by a deadline. If the students are required to share their final project with others, they also get a chance to practice public speaking. We got such an opportunity when our school participated in the Inter-School Technical Bonanza on 13th January, 2023 at Sangam Gardens organised by University of Engineering and Management. Our school bagged the 3rd prize. The children made the working model of JCB and demonstrated it with technical expertise and fluency, the officials were in all praise for our students *(Aishwani Kumar, Saket Kumar, and Shivanshu Kumar of Class IX)*. It was indeed a proud moment for our school. The mentors who supported the children were our Science teachers, Miss Ritu Tiwari and Mrs Swati Srivastava.
