Blood donation day

“Give blood and keep the world beating!”

This year’s blood donation day slogan aims to raise awareness during a time of crisis. Due to the ongoing pandemic Swami Sahajanand Bridgeford School, Dhurwa decided to virtually celebrate this day. Words were sent out and the students and teachers set to work to make this day a memorable one. Quiz competition was conducted and slogans were written, posters got colours and badges got their final touch.  Apart from these, the students also presented a creative skit on ‘how donating blood can help save lives’ and proved their mastery over acting skills too. Everyone was overwhelmed to see the multifaceted skills of the present generation. The event also helped in raising awareness about the importance of blood donation and broke many myths. Such events inculcate moral values in the younger generation which will help them become responsible human beings in the future.
