Exam Schedule
Examination and Promotion
Promotion of the students will be decided on the basis of the cumulative performance of the students in all the examinations and tests.
- Prior information will be given in any case of change of dates of tests and exams
- Besides exams and unit tests, class tests are also conducted by the subject teachers to keep the students up to date with the progress of the syllabus in the class
- No re-tests or re-exam will be conducted in case a child misses them. No student will be permitted to repeat the class more than once. Every Friday class tests of different subjects will be conducted. The schedule of the Friday tests will be intimated to the parents.
- The students have to secure 33% marks out of 100 in each subject for promotion to the next higher class.
- Periodic tests will include two unit tests of 10 marks each, Friday Test of 10 marks each, 5 marks for notebook upkeep, 5 marks for Subject Enrichment, and Mid Term and Final Examination of 70 marks each.

- Notebook submission will cover regularity, assignment completion, neatness, and upkeep of notebooks.
- Subject enrichment activity will include speaking and listening skills in language papers, practical lab work in Mathematics and Science and map and projects in Social Science.
- The element of discipline has been introduced as it helps students in character building, sincerity, good behaviour, foster unity, and cooperation. Class teachers will grade the students on a five point grading scale (A to E).
