About School

“School is a building which has four walls with tomorrow inside.”

The school is situated in a lush green area of H.E.C with serene ambience which is apt for the learning process of kids.Spread across wide open area, the grand campus of the school has well- ventilated, large, spacious classrooms, open play area to promote the love for outdoor sports. It is the branch of the one of the best schools of Ranchi i.e Bridgeford School, Tupudana. It was inaugurated on 4th April, 2018 by our Chairman Mr. Narayan Jalan.

Though it started in the recent years, it has gained a firm and a good place among the educational institution. It is the need of the hour to provide the right set- up for an advanced level of education and tap their true potential by helping them reach remarkable levels of success. We are a private English Medium, coeducational school that follows the curriculum as prescribed by CBSE Board of Education. At par with the global standards of education, we focus on developing the 21 st century skills so that each student can succeed in the real world. Some of the highlights of the school are :

Ambience:  The moment students walk through the door, they  feel valued,  accepted, and safe. This starts with a warm smile and greetings from the staff

which do wonders in making them feel valued. The overall feel of the building and seeing positive camaraderie among coworkers, give a sense of joy and partnership. Beautiful artwork is inviting and allows students to show ownership and pride in their space. A clean building also shows families, the school cares about their students’ day-to-day experience as well as maintaining a healthy environment.

Cohesive Staff: Great teachers definitely make a school great. Creating a classroom full of positive relationships sets a precedent for learning. Here teachers with a growth mindset keep the evolution of education in motion. The teachers are passionate about their students and do what it takes to ensure success. A staff with a balance of both novice and veteran teachers is also important. They help shape and build a successful educative programme.

Leadership: A strong leader makes a school great. Our Headmistress, Mrs. Gunjan Bhasin listens, communicates, solves problems, offers support and guidance, and is the driving force for excellence. Building relationships and trust is key—where teachers feel completely supported, they are more apt to perform to their best ability. When students feel valued, accepted, and safe, they can achieve a higher level of performance. When families can trust that their children are in the best learning environment, they will be content thus making it a better place for all. Our Headmistress seeks to embody all of these elements to make the school great.

Rigorous Curriculum: What students are learning is imperative to the success of a school. Students are motivated to fully engage in the process—active learners are more able to retain information than passive learners. Students need to be prepared for the future and a rigorous curriculum of the school will help get them there. The curriculum is well-researched and provides pertinent skills to students. Here, CBSE curriculum is followed. Teachers have all the necessary resources and training in order to make the curriculum effective. Here practical learning is given due importance. The students practically do and observe what they learn from the book.Through periodic tests and exams students are assessed and motivated to perform better.

Discipline :- Discipline is not just a moral value but it is the most powerful virtue that is necessary to be successful in life. One cannot achieve the goals of life without being disciplined. That is why the school plays a crucial role in imparting discipline and creating well-balanced individuals. The students are taught to be disciplined not only in school premises and in the bus but also in the society, too.

Discipline is a way to set limits for the children so that they know what is right and what is wrong. This improves the character of the students and they become strong as well as self-reliant.

Activities :- The main objective of early childhood education should be to kick start the natural curiosity and desire to learn in the minds of children.Undoubtedly, there is no replacement for creative and imaginative activities for kids to experience a different level of growth. Our school offers an exclusive range of co-curricular activities that bestow the complete development of the child. Our co-curricular activities at Swami Sahajanand Bridgeford School provides a stunning mix of activities that deal with the holistic development of the kids. With different joyful activities like Art and Craft, Music, Role play, Clay molding etc. our children are motivated to excel in every field. They are able to explore their talents and interests. The school organises co-curricular and extra curricular activities for overall development of the students. The school aspires to make it’s each child a confident human being.

Clinging to the roots :- Culture is the way of life, customs, traditions, literature, festivals and art of a community so here the students are given knowledge of our rich culture so that they should feel proud of all that is good in our culture. The students are made aware of the rich cultural heritage of the country and are encouraged through various activities to have a deep knowledge of the our culture. They are taught to value elders by conducting activities to show love and respect to our helpers, fathers, mothers, grandparents, and teachers. Activities like Hindi Diwas, Rangoli making, Moulding Diyas, Kindness acitivity etc., are conducted from time to time. National and other religious festivals are also celebrated and students are briefed about how and why they celebrated, making them close to our rich tradition and culture.

Physical and mental wellness :-  Physical activity is proven to not only keep you physically healthy, but mentally healthy as well. Research shows that doing any form of exercise impacts the release and uptake of feel-good chemicals in the brain. The students are encouraged to play physical games, do meditation, exercise, and to take healthy diet. The school takes great care in ensuring that it’s students are physically and mentally sound. Interactive sessions are conducted so that the children meet each other  and ultimately feel better as a result.Time to time counselling is done. They are told to take healthy diet as it impacts the development of mental and physical health. A good, cheerful, and positive environment is always maintained.

Parents Teachers’ Meetings :-  Here we make sure that at least four PTMs are held every session because mutual understanding between parents and teachers is a real secret of child’s happy learning. When parents and teachers work well together, everyone benefits. Parents and teachers can provide each other with unique insight and different perspectives about the same child, culminating in a more complete understanding of that child. The teachers know much more about the curriculum and the school culture, while parents know more about the child’s personality, tendencies, and family life. A successful parent-teacher partnership also shows a child that an entire team of adults is on his/her side. This also inculcates a yearning for learning in students so, such interactions have immense contribution in shaping child’s personality.

  • It takes a lot to make a school great—it comes with hard work and determination. School climate, a cohesive staff, community involvement, a strong leader, and a rigorous curriculum are the key factors that determine greatness and each day we take a step forward ensuring that it is attained.
